Enkel och lite halvsnygg lösning, stilren iallafall.
De flesta köper ju faktiskt högtalare / Stereoanläggning efter utseende och hur det passar in i deras hem, det är väldigt få som prioriterar ljudet före både utseende och pris, även bland ”HiFi-nördar”.
Denna Mario Bellini designade möber/stereo är verkligen ingen nytt, det designades och såldes för första gången 1971..
Så nu 50 år senare så släpper de ”Totem” igen, och denna italienska design ser lika futuristisk ut än idag.
Och ja, givetvis är det en uppgraderad version som du kan köpa idag.
Denna enkla designlösning blev så uppmärksammad och känd att den gjorde sig förtjänt av en permanent plats på Museum of Modern Art’s design kollektion.
En snygg grej att ha i sitt minimaliska vardagsrum,
bara synd att denna stereomöbel kostar 230 000 kronor.
The Brionvega RR231 Totem Stereo System is a special 2021 re-edition of Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini’s sound system innovation, intended for use in domestic settings. When closed, the system is cube-shaped, representing the pure and abstract form of music. Opening the cube reveals its “wings” (speakers that can be oriented or separated from the base), a turntable, AM/FM radio and control console. New features include updated speakers and a USB output jack.
Each system is numbered with the designer’s signature. The original system, designed in 1970, is in MoMA’s collection and was featured in the Museum’s 2006 exhibition Artist’s Choice: Herzog & De Meuron, Perception Restrained.
Features of the Brionvega RR231 Totem Stereo System include:
- Each speaker is equipped with a reflex-loading woofer, a mid-woofer and a tweeter.
- Speaker wings can be left open on the cube or removed and placed elsewhere in the room—either way, they provide ideal sound quality in medium to large rooms.

Den verkade vara billigare på deras egna hemsida, där kostar den 16 000 euro, men det är priset om du bor i Italien, så med tull och moms så blir det nog de där 230 000 kronorna ändå.
