Jag ogillade detta först väldigt mycket och såg det bara som ett desperat försök från Nike att få sålt skor.
Folk köper inte Premium Air Force 1 (som är riktigt bra!), så vad gjorde att folk köpte Nike Air Force 1?
När var de som mest inne?
Ja det var ju 2001.
Och det var utan tvekan pga denna låten.

En låt som jag alltid har tyckt är dålig, oavsett hur mycket jag tycker om ämnet som låten handlar om.
Och den tidens Air Force 1 gillade jag inte i heller.
Det var med 2007 ”faceliften” som jag började tycka om Nike Air Force 1.
Så, Nike är desperata över att få sålt skor.
De prövade med att ge folket riktigt bra, mjukt, skönt läder, men det köpte inte folk, inte ens på REA..
Så då får de helt enkelt gå tillbaka till den tid då skorna sålde som mest och bäst.
Och jag tycker att det är fel.
Jag tycker att folk är otacksamma som inte köper skor med bra läder.
Jag gillade inte ”Nellys” då eller nu.
Jag gillar inte den looken.
De är rundare och ”mjukare” på alla sätt.
De ser mycket mer feminina ut.
Jag föredrar absolut den kantigare 07-looken.
Det känns äldre, den känns manligare, den känns mer som basketskor.
Jag gillar inte att Nike Swooshen sitter för högt upp.
Jag gillar inte att tå-delen ser för kort/låg ut.
Jag gillar inte att ovandelen ser hög ut, alltså ovandelen på skorna.
Men.. just det gör att skorna är skönare.
Och dessa Air Force 1 ser ut att ha rätt så (relativt) okej läder..
Bättre än ”Pläder” iallafall.
Och jag klarar mig absolut utan den töntiga lilla metallbiten längst ner på snörerna.
Och det är lite(!) nice att tungan är av läder.
Om de har gjort det bra, och inte som på dem som heter ”Clean” eller vad de nu heter.
Så ja jag testar nog ett par på REA.
Och ja, ”folket” kommer att tycka om dem ”mjukare” och mindre kantiga/”klumpiga” skorna, så enkelt är det.

Nike Air Force 1 01 vs 07: What’s REALLY Different?
Nike is bringing back the early-2000s Air Force 1 shape with the upcoming Air Force 1 Low ’01 “Triple White.” Expected in July 2026, the all-white release is priced at $150, placing it $35 above the standard Air Force 1 ’07.
The differences are subtle until both versions sit side by side. Compared to the current ’07, the ’01 has a narrower toe box, shorter toe height, and a sleeker forefoot. Its lower-cut collar and rounder heel also give the shoe the compact shape associated with Air Force 1 pairs from the early 2000s.
Sneaker reporter @zsneakerheadz provided the comparison photos, making the shape and construction changes easier to spot across both versions.
Nike adjusted more than the overall profile. The ’01 uses thicker leather panels, added interior padding, and a longer leather tongue. It also removes the familiar metal lace dubrae found on the ’07, replacing it with a small embroidered Swoosh near the bottom of the eyestay.
Panel placement and stitching have been revised to better match the 2001 build. The side Swoosh appears slightly thicker, while the heel tab carries a softer, more rounded curve. Nike also refined the midsole texture and reshaped the outsole, though the traditional circular traction pattern remains in place.
None of these changes turn the Air Force 1 ’01 into a completely different sneaker. The appeal comes from the proportions. Collectors who prefer older Air Force 1s will notice the slimmer toe, lower stance, and more structured construction immediately.
Nike has already reintroduced the shape through NIGO’s recent collaboration, and the “Triple White” pair gives the ’01 treatment a more familiar look.

Nike is revitalizing the Air Force 1 ’01 Triple White, inspired by the sneakers produced in the early 2000s. But rather than tweak the timeless design, the Swoosh restored the shape and feel that collectors reminisce about from those vintage releases.
Compared to the popular Air Force 1 ’07 that is sold today, the ’01 features a narrower toe box, shorter profile, firmer construction, and overall sleeker fit. The upgraded materials also allow the shoe to feel more durable while maintaining its pristine all-white look.
As expected, the AF-1 still has traditional Nike Air cushioning underfoot for comfortable everyday use. The brand’s revised fit will likely be welcomed by fans who prefer the more athletic, streamlined profile of older AF-1 models.
Nike recently revived the ’01 tooling through its partnership with NIGO. Now, the upcoming Triple White release will allow that vintage silhouette to shine in its most iconic colorway.
